Fleadh Cheoil Reading 2026
A Celebration of Irish Music, Dance & Community
The Reading & District Irish Association is proud to present the inaugural Fleadh Cheoil Reading, taking place at the Reading Irish Centre on Saturday, 24th October, from 12pm until late.
This special event will bring together the very best of Irish culture and tradition for a full day of live music, traditional Irish dance, entertainment and community celebration. Fleadh Cheoil Reading will provide a warm and welcoming setting for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and enjoy the richness of Ireland’s musical and cultural heritage.
From traditional music and dance throughout the afternoon to an exciting programme of evening entertainment, the Fleadh will celebrate the traditions that have connected generations and continue to play such an important role within the Irish community, both at home and abroad.
Whether you are part of Reading’s Irish community, have Irish heritage, or simply share an appreciation for Irish music, dance and culture, Fleadh Cheoil Reading promises to be a memorable occasion and an opportunity to celebrate the strong sense of friendship and community at the heart of Irish culture.
This year’s event will also proudly support Sue Ryder’s Duchess of Kent Hospice, a charity that is particularly close to the hearts of many within our community. Over the years, the hospice has touched the lives of many local individuals and families, providing compassionate care and invaluable support at times when it is needed most. We are honoured to use this celebration as an opportunity to recognise their important work and to help support the difference they continue to make within our community.
The Reading & District Irish Association looks forward to welcoming friends, families and the wider community to what we hope will become an important annual occasion in Reading’s cultural calendar, a celebration of Irish music, dance, heritage and community, while supporting a cause that means so much to so many.
