The Reading & District Irish Association’s aim is to preserve Irish traditions and promote the cultural, social and general welfare of the Irish community within Reading and the surrounding areas.

As an organisation, we are therefore proud to introduce the very first Fleadh Cheoil Reading – a vibrant new cultural event celebrating Irish music, dance, heritage and community.

This exciting event will bring together people of all ages and backgrounds, providing a wonderful opportunity to experience and celebrate the richness of Irish culture and its enduring contribution to Reading and the wider community.

Our vision is to establish Fleadh Cheoil Reading as an annual flagship event, a highlight in the town’s cultural calendar that strengthens community connections, fosters inclusivity and celebrates the lasting Irish influence within the local area.
